Amanda - Treatment CoordinatorAmanda was born and raised in Elmhurst and grew up loving the area. She has been working in the dental field since 2010. The opportunity arose for Amanda to take a job at a general dental office and she knew right away she loved the field of dentistry, but she missed working with kids. Amanda previously worked in a daycare and has always enjoyed working with kids. She was thrilled to continue her passion for dentistry in our pediatric dental office. She has four kids of her own and a wonderful husband. She loves all things DIY. Outside the office, Amanda and her family love the outdoors, and their black lab, Ivy.
Ruby - Practice Relations Coordinator Ruby has been with Elmhurst Dentistry for Kids since summer 2017. She comes to us with great experience having worked for some well-known institutions including Children's Memorial Hospital/ Laurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's in the neonatal intensive care unit and The Gale Sayers Foundation. Ruby has a passion for working with children and event planning. She is putting her passions in action at EDFK as our Practice Relations Coordinator. Ruby currently resides in the Schaumburg area with wonderful husband and her two young children. In their free time, Ruby and her family enjoy watching movies and baking!
Hallie - Dental AssistantHallie has been working in the dental field since September 2015. She grew up in Woodridge, IL and currently resides in Glen Ellyn. Hallie graduated from the College of DuPage with a degree in Early Childhood Education. After a few career changes she fell in love with pediatric dentistry. Hallie is a fitness enthusiast and has competed in multiple body building competitions. In her spare time, Hallie enjoys going to the lake to go fishing.
Kati - Office ManagerKati has been working in the pediatric dental field since 2012. Kati loves being a team leader and works hard to ensure the office delivers all services to patients’ and parents’ highest standards. She loves to help answer any questions about the awesome pediatric dental care we provide. Born and raised in Oak Park, Kati graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School where she swam and played water polo. Her education includes a degree in communications and public relations from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI where she also played Women’s Division III Varsity water polo and was team captain. Engaging with kids and their parents is one of her favorite things about working for Elmhurst Dentistry for Kids. Outside of the office, Kati coaches age group swimming for Team Millennium and plays on a club water polo team.
Marlene - Scheduling CoordinatorMarlene has been in the field of pediatric dentistry since 2010. Marlene grew up in Elmhurst, and she is proud of her knowledge of the history of the city. She attended Elmhurst College and graduated, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and has had several drawings and photographs published. Two of her favorite classes at Elmhurst College were "Child Development" and "Child Psychology", because Marlene loves to work with kids. She at one point worked two part time jobs while simultaneously being an extra in the movie, "Pretty in Pink.” (You can look for her in the high school prom scene.) Marlene wishes there had been a Pediatric Dental Office in her neighborhood growing up, as this really does make coming to the Dentist, fun! Outside of the office, Marlene divides her time by caring for her elderly mother-in-Law, and going through all the "new" experiences with her teenage daughter!
Michelle - Dental Hygiene CoordinatorMichelle has been working at Elmhurst Dentistry for Kids since January 2016. She is the first smile you see when you walk in. With many years of customer service experience, she thrives on building relationships with patients and parents, and making each child feel like our office is their dental home. She loves working with the team/staff we have to provide our patients with a great experience each visit. Outside of the office you can find her relaxing reading a good book, or on an adventure to find new Pokemon!
Maritza - Head AssistantMaritza has been in the dental field since 2011. Before starting at Elmhurst Dentistry for kids in the fall of 2016, she previously worked in a general office. Maritza enjoys working with kids and her goal is to always make them feel at home at the office. She's sure to get a smile out of even our most challenging patients. Maritza lives in Elmwood Park and loves to spend as much time as possible with her family, especially her kids. They like going to the Brookfield Zoo and going out for breakfast together!
Camille - Dental AssistantCamille has been working for Elmhurst Dentistry for Kids since the summer of 2015. She is currently a senior at York Community High School, and resides in Elmhurst. Camille is planning on pursuing a career in dental hygiene in the near future, and is still on the hunt for the college of her dreams. Outside of the office, Camille loves to hang out with her Shih-Tzu/ Maltese mixed dog, named Stanley. Also, five to six days a week you can find Camille Irish dancing or reading Harry Potter books.
Stephanie - Dental AssistantStephanie has been in the dental field since 1998, and she’s been at EDFK since early 2017! Stephanie has worked in general dentistry and in orthodontics, but she loves the pediatric setting. Dentistry has always been a passion of hers, and working with kids is her favorite. “Making kids feel comfortable and excited to come to the dentist is my #1 goal.” Stephanie was born and raised in Aurora and currently resides in Bensenville with her husband and four kids. When she isn’t taking her kids to their school sports team events, Stephanie and her family enjoy doing Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu competitions.
